CO2 Capture Technology Demo

50 billion tonnes of CO2 is added to the atmosphere every year by human activity. Think about this simple idea – capture this CO2 at point-of-emissions and put it away so that it is not added to the atmosphere; it is also possible to suck CO2 directly out of atmosphere. These technologies can stop and reverse the effects of climate change due to global warming. CO2 capture is a simple idea but not easy to do. Why? It takes energy and special materials to capture CO2. The energy needed right now is too high and the special materials are nasty. This tech demo is a starting point to reduce energy and find nice materials to make this idea work at scale. Walk in to find out how this works and get inspired to innovate to make this idea a reality.

Green Hydrogen Initiative

Green hydrogen is a promising energy alternative produced from renewable sources like solar and wind power. It involves splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen through a process called electrolysis. This clean fuel has the potential to significantly reduce carbon emissions and dependency on fossil fuels. Green hydrogen can be used in various applications, including transportation, industry, and power generation, making it a key component in the transition to a sustainable energy future.
